The GW-501 is built around a small gas turbine engine manufactured in the USA. These are factory new engines, not overhauled or run-out, high-time engines. They are electronically controlled from the start cycle to shut down. Anytime these engines attempt to operate outside perimeters, the engine will sut down before damage can occur. The maximum continuous EGT is 1300F. We have de-rated these units to 1200F to extend engine life. If operated and maintained properly, two to three thousand hours of operating time dcan be expected.

Units consis of two major assemblies:

Upper Cabinet

• Houses gas turbine
• Control panel
• Fuel and oil heat exchanger
• Fuel pump and by-pass valve
• Fuel filter
• Exhaust duct assembly

Lower Cabinet

• Fuel tank (115 gallons)
• Dual 12-volt batteries (24-volt system)
• Combination fuel filter, water separator and fuel heater

The upper cabinet can be removed from the lower unit and operated independently with a remote fuel tank. The batteries can be mounted on top of the cabinet.
